History
Established in 2005.Daniel and Norma Boudreault began their careers more than a decade ago at a Golden West pancake house in Prunedale. The eatery ended up not only providing a business opportunity for the two of them, when they bought the facility after the Golden West went bankrupt, but also helped set the stage for a lifetime commitment. Time is a precious commodity for the Boudreaults, who have four children, three boys and one girl, all in school. The oldest is attending his first year at the University of California, Santa Cruz.- Being restaurateurs has helped knit our family and enabled us to spend more time together, Boudreault said. - We want a place our children could go after school and help out, give them something to do, and also to teach them how to work. My wife's father taught her the value of working, my father taught me the value of working, and we wanted our children to learn this aspect of life, Daniel said.

The last time I was here was several years ago. Someone wanted try it again so I gave it a 2nd try. I decided on oatmeal and fresh fruit but because my last breakfast here was miserable, I wanted to stay safe. While my food was fine, my friend's meal was just as bad as what I remembered. The chicken fried steak was so hard and rubbery that it could not be cut with a knife. Since the size of the pieces was inconsistent, the country potatoes we mostly either under-cooked or burned. Very few of them were cooked just right. Breakfast is the easiest meal of the day to prepare - right? I gave it a 2 star because they did okay with the oatmeal and thr service was okay. I would not come back.
